SAS or SPSS Site-License Request

UNIVERSITY OF RHODE ISLAND TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE USE OF SAS AND SPSS MICROCOMPUTER INSTITUTE PROGRAM PRODUCTS (MicroIPPs)

A MicroIPP may be used only on the equipment for which it is licensed on the submitted form. MicroIPPs installed on such equipment may not be accessed by anyone who is not either a faculty/staff member or a registered student at the University of Rhode Island.

If the MicroIPPs are installed on a local network server, each attached workstation must be licensed separately, in addition to the server device.

MicroIPPs are copyrighted, proprietary work belonging to SAS Institute or IBM Corp.
(a)Reproduction (in any form) of the MicroIPPs is not permitted, except for the purpose of backing up hard disks.
(b)MicroIPPs may not be decompiled or reverse engineered.
(c)Upon separation from the University or termination of the MicroIPP license, use of the MicroIPPs will cease, any copies of the MicroIPPs will be deleted from any hard disk or media on which they have been installed.

The person responsible for the MicroIPPs will be notified before July 1 of each year, if use of the MicroIPPs on the equipment listed on the submitted form will be discontinued. By July 1, use of the MicroIPPs must cease, all copies of the MicroIPPs must be returned to ITS/UCS and MicroIPPs must be deleted from hard disks on which they have been installed. Updates/corrections to the MicroIPPs will be provided to the licensee as they arrive from the software vendors.
